The Foundation of our program
Broodmares
We have a special set of ladies both present and past that have built the foundation of our equine breeding program here at Copper Cat Ranch. We put foals on the ground with dispositions that are trainable, conformation to withstand rigors of showing or ranching, and we like pretty too! Our young prospects have gone on to be money earners in NCHA, NRHA, NRCHA, roping, barrels, and so much more. We like a good using horse as well and more recently we've decided to raise a mule baby here and there. We pride ourselves in putting together a quality prospect and not necessarily what's trendy. Good Pedigrees are important, but not what's most important in our program.
You will find many of our foals sired by Flash Nu Cash (Nu Cash x CC Adobe Dell by Doctor Sujo) as he is co-owned with the Rocking 2S Ranch.

But sometimes things come full circle and she will be landing back here to live out the rest of her years. We are excited for her to come home as she is an own daughter of our very own Flash Nu Cash and out of our well loved matriarch, Fairlea Good Lookin.
Her full brother - Nu Colonel Nic is doing wonderfully this year (2024) showing in Western Dressage with the crew at Western Sky Horsemanship and owned by Dale Rumens-Partee.
